BOM Include/Exclude
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Click the
button in the toolbar.

Select Assembly > Main Tools > BOM from the menu bar.

Select BOM from the Mold Design Guide Toolbar.
Create a Bill of Materials (BoM) for an assembly. A BoM is a list of components in the assembly.
Exclude from BOM
Assemblies and Assembly components can be excluded from the BOM by either selecting the Ignore in BOM check box in the Cimatron Explorer > Properties > Advanced Tab or from the BOM Table Editor (described below).
Using the BOM Table Editor to exclude a component from the BOM
Select the appropriate cell.
Press the Exclude from BOM button .
If required, press the Expand button to display the Components Excluded from BOM window. The excluded component is listed in the Excluded window.
Note: For each operation only the relevant button is displayed, in this case the Exclude from BOM button .
Include in BOM
Assemblies and Assembly components that were previously excluded from the BOM can be included by either unselecting the Ignore in BOM checkbox in the Cimatron Explorer > Properties > Advanced Tab or from the BOM Table Editor (described below).
Using the BOM Table Editor to include a component (that was previously excluded) in the BOM
Select the appropriate cell.
Press the Include in BOM button .
The previously excluded component is now listed among the other components to be included in the BOM.
Note: For each operation only the relevant button is displayed, in this case the Include in BOM button .
