Customizing 3Dconnexion Buttons

Access: Open this function from the following location:

Select View > Customize > 3Dconnexion from the menu bar.

Customize the operations attached to 3Dconnexion device buttons.

The 3Dconnexion mouse buttons are fully customizable and this function lets you assign new mouse shortcuts to existing commands.

Note: Hardware items can only be customized if they are attached. If you do not have a 3Dconnexion device attached to your computer, the 3Dconnexion option in the Customize menu will be grayed out.

When you enter this tool, the Customize 3Dconnexion dialog is displayed.

In addition, you can also define the center of rotation by one of the following methods:

Automatic selection	The system automatically selects the rotate point.
Center of geometry	Rotate around the center of the geometry.
Rotate around highlighted entity	Rotate around a highlighted entity.
