Dimension Boxes
Dimension Boxes are displayed in Add Component and Add From Catalog, when using Snap On in the Place on Face option. They appear whenever a point is picked to locate the position of an added component and signify the XY coordinates from the active UCS of the selected face.
Use the XY values to relocate the added component. The following topics describe how to control the display of these Dimension Boxes;
Hide
Click the Hide button to hide a Dimension Box.
The Dimension Box is hidden while the component is still displayed.
Show/Hide Dim Boxes
Click the Show Dim. Boxes option to show the Dimension Boxes—The button text will toggle to Hide Dim.Boxes to make the hide functionality available. In this example, Show Dim Boxes is clicked to show any hidden Dimension Boxes.
All previously hidden Dimension Boxes are displayed.
Delete
Press the Delete button to delete a Dimension Box as well as the specific occurrence of the added component.
The Dimension Box and the specific occurrence of the added component are deleted. This action has removed the component and the Dimension Box.
