Display Jagged Edges
Access: Open this function from the following location:
-
Select View > Settings > Display Jagged Edges from the menu bar.
Turn the smoothing (ant-aliasing) of edges ON or OFF.
Diagonal lines are, by default, displayed in Cimatron as smoothed (also known as anti-aliasing). Anti-aliasing is a software technique that enables diagonal lines to appear smoothed, rather than as jagged stair-stepped lines.
However, in some cases, this may make it quite hard to see if a line is horizontal or vertical or if it has a slight angle. For these cases, by turning the display of jagged edges ON, it is easier to detect, for example, whether or not a face has a draft angle.
The default setting is defined in the Preferences.
