Graphics Card Test
Access: This function is automatically run during the Cimatron installation process. However, you can also manually invoke this function from one of the following locations:

From the Cimatron installation autorun window, select Additional Products & Tools > Graphics Card.

Cimatron Control Panel: Select Start > All Programs > Cimatron > Cimatron Control Panel.
Select Utilities > Graphics Card Test.
Test your graphics card to see if it is compatible with Cimatron.
The system examines your graphics card automatically before installing Cimatron. In addition to this automatic test, this function can also be manually invokedinvoked .
If the graphics card is compatible with Cimatron, a confirmation message is displayed only if the test has been manually invoked.
If the graphics card is not compatible or the driver needs to be upgraded, an appropriate message is displayed recommending that you solve the problem before continuing with the installation.
The message for an incompatible card is displayed in a dialog containing the following buttons:
Save Log File |
Click this button and send the created log file to your local Provider or Reseller for further assistance. The default file name is Cimatron Graphics Card Test Results.txt and the default save location is the desktop of the current user. |
Open Troubleshooting Document |
Open the Graphics Card Troubleshooting Guide PDF file containing suggested solutions to common problems. Click the button below to view the document. The free Adobe Reader is required to view PDF files. Download the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe's website (https://www.adobe.com).
