Adaptive Feed Control
Adaptive Feed Control is an option in Cimatron Rough procedures. This enables you to change the feed from the programmed nominal feed to a range between two values, upper and lower, as follows:
Increase to (default 150%)
Decrease to (default 30%).
When this checkbox is marked , the system analyzes the remaining stock and modifies the feed, moment by moment, to handle the changing loads on the tool due to the changes in the stock to be removed. This reduces drastic load changes and enables you to increase the nominal feed while shortening machining time, yet protecting the tool and prolonging tool life.
OFF |
If Adaptive Feed Control is OFF, the Feed is defined by the Feed parameter of the NC Procedure. |
