Down Step/Vertical Step

For the Automated Drill > Helical Profile operation, Down Step (Pitch) is linked to Ramp Angle; changing one will affect the other.

The vertical distance between cutting layers.

The actual down step is calculated to satisfy the defined down step, ± 2% (up to the cut length of the cutter). The deviation is generated so that the rough layers hit closer to the main planes.
