Slope Limit Angle |
The maximum angle between the machined surface and the reference (horizontal or vertical) plane. The limit angle is between the local normal of the surface and the Z axis. For instance, in a Cleanup -> Split Horizontal/Vertical procedure, or in Finish Layer machining, areas that are steeper than the defined limit angle, will be machined with a vertical strategy, while those areas that are shallower than the defined limit angle, will be milled with a horizontal strategy. The default value is 45 degrees. The range of values is between 1 and 70 degrees. If the Machining Method = Parallel, then the maximum value is 89 degrees. In Cleanup, this parameter is displayed if Machined Regions = Split Horiz. / Vert., Horiz. Only or Vert Only. |
