The horizontal areas are milled on surface, and vertical areas are milled in Constant Z down steps.

All Along

All areas, horizontal and vertical, are machined using the same technology and the cutter maintains constant contact with the machined surface.

If this option is selected, the Vertical Machining Fallback parameter is displayed.

Machine the horizontal areas only.

Machine the vertical areas only.

Note: For all the Machined Regions options, any cutter combinations may be used; however, the current cutter must have a smaller diameter and/or a smaller corner radius than the previous cutter.
