These parameters enable you to avoid milling "empty" vertical walls (where there is no part surface) and "check" vertical walls.

Mill to Min. Z

Mill down to the minimum Z; either to the stock bottom or to the part bottom.

With this option, there are motions over check surfaces, missing surfaces and breach areas. The milling is down to the tool touch point.

If the stock is used, then mill down to the stock bottom.
If the stock is ignored, then mill down to the part bottom.

Mill Breaches

Mill or don't mill breaches (holes) in vertical areas.

Mill the breaches. With this option, there are no motions over check surfaces and missing surfaces, however, there are motions over breach areas.

If the stock is used, then mill down to the stock bottom.
If the stock is ignored, then mill down to the part bottom.

Skip the breaches. With this option, there are no motions over check surfaces, missing surfaces and breach areas.
