Lead Angle |
The angle between the tool and the surface. The tool maintains this angle along the milling direction.

Tilt Angle |
The side angle between the tool and the surface.

If a positive angle is entered, the angle is measured from the normal to the surface and in the direction in which the tool is moving - a lead angle. If a negative angle is entered, a trailing angle is defined, which is measured from the normal and away from the direction in which the tool is moving.
