Max. Scallop

The maximum height of the material remaining between cutter passes. The maximum scallop for ball end and bull nose tools is defined as the scallop produced on a flat horizontal surface.

The maximum scallop:

• Cannot be smaller than the surface tolerance.

• Cannot be larger than the tool diameter.
