Picked Faces Only 
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Picked Faces Only
function
from the Face
Selection Modes dropdown list in the
Selection
Floating toolbar.

Select Edit > Selection > Picked Faces Only from the menu bar.
When selecting faces, select only the picked faces.
Select the picked face only
InvokeInvoke the function and then select the required faces.
The picked face is selected.
