Die Preferences > Force Calculation > Forming Operation
Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button
from the Quick Access Toolbar, or -
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.
Navigate to Die > Force Calculation > Forming Operation.
Define the correction factor for the calculation of forces for forming by the finite element engine (FTI).
This will affect the result of Die Forces and enables you to have more control over them.
Force Calculation: The force calculation employed depends on the type of operation being calculated. For additional information and to define some of the values used in force calculations, see the Die Force Calculation Preferences.
The Forming Operation dialog is displayed.
Interaction
Set the required Forming Operation parameter.
Enter the Correction Factor to manipulate forces calculated by the finite element engine (FTI).
Default: 1.
The forces displayed in the above mentioned functions will be multiplied by the factor.
Press the appropriate approval option.
