Electrode Preferences > Base > Base Offset

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button from the Quick Access Toolbar, or
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.

Navigate to Electrode > Base > Base Offset.

Define whether or not, by default, to offset the electrode base from its blank and to set a default offset value.

The Base Offset dialog is displayed.

Interaction

Define the base offset parameters. The units (mm/inch) are as defined for the Preferences.

Offset Base

Select the checkbox to offset the electrode base from its blank. If selected, set the default base offset amount.

The defaults are: Offset Base = unchecked, Base Offset = 0mm or 0 inch.
The default is unchecked.

Press the appropriate approval option.
