General Preferences > Menus & Toolbars

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button from the Quick Access Toolbar, or
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.

Navigate to General > Menus & Toolbars.

Define whether or not dropdown menus are automatically expanded when hovering over a menu title.

The Menu and Toolbars dialog is displayed.

Interaction

Set the parameters:

Expand Menus when hovering over them

When ON , automatically expand a dropdown menu from the menubar when hovering over a menu name with the mouse cursor.

Default = ON

A dropdown menu is automatically displayed when hovering over a menu name:

When OFF , a dropdown menu is not automatically expanded from the menubar when hovering over a menu name. In this case, click a menu name on the menubar to expand the dropdown menu.

Press the appropriate approval option.
