NC Preferences > Drill > Automated Drill Defaults

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button from the Quick Access Toolbar, or
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.

Navigate to NC > Drill > Automated Drill Defaults.

Define the default settings for the Automated Drill procedure to run in Automatic mode, where Hole Groups and their attached Sequences are automatically created during the procedure calculation.

The Automated Drill Defaults dialog is displayed.

Interaction

Set the default parameters.

Default Mode

Set the default mode for running the Automated Drill procedure:

Automatic	All the hole groups and their attached sequences are automatically created during the Automated Drill procedure calculation and appear in the Automated Drill tree pane (the tree pane is only displayed in the Interactive mode). In the Automatic mode, the Automated Drill tree pane is not displayed; switch to the Interactive mode in the procedure to display the tree pane.
Interactive	Manually create groups, define and save sequences and also examine and, if required, edit the groups and sequences that were created in the Automatic mode. In the Interactive mode, the Automated Drill tree pane is displayed and you have access to the following functions for manual control: Group Manager Auto Fit Sequence Define/Modify Sequence

Default Path

Define the default folder that contains the Sequences.

Press the appropriate approval option.
