Volume Milling > Rough

Remove volume material. For each layer, optimal machining strategy is applied according to the layer geometry. Priority is given to air plunging.

Adaptive feed control is automatically applied, so a constant load is maintained on the cutter at all times.
High speed milling strategies can be applied.

You can create a few concurrent Rough procedures (e.g. with different cutters) and the remaining material is taken into consideration.

Volume Milling, Rough has the following sub-options:

	Rough Parallel: Milling in which cutter passes are parallel when viewed from the Z direction.
	Rough Spiral: Milling performed in spiral motions.
	Volume Pocket: Remove volume material from pocket features recognized by the Pocket Manager.
	Volumill Rough: Volume mill material.
