Cimatron provides an interface to NCSIMUL® that allows the export of Cimatron data to NCSIMUL.
NCSIMUL is an all-in-one CNC software that managers can operate as part of the Cimatron manufacturing process.
If NCSIMUL is installed on your computer, it can be launched directly from within Cimatron. The Cimatron to NCSIMUL interface integrates both programs to verify and optimize NC programs and to simulate CNC machines. The setup data from Cimatron (tools, fixtures, and stock material) are automatically transferred into NCSIMUL.
Checking the actual C-Code against the machine kinematics and CNC control system of a specific machine can eliminate both the need for on-machine CNC program try outs and the possibility of costly collisions.
Important! To use this interface;
-
NCSIMUL must be installed on your computer.
-
A Cimatron W_NCSIMUL license is required.
By running the Cimatron to NCSIMUL Interface function (see below), Cimatron prepares the interface to run a NCSIMUL simulation on the G-Code created by GPP2. NCSIMUL must be installed on your computer to actually run the simulation.
General Interaction
- Create G-Code using GPP2.
- StartStart the Cimatron to NCSIMUL Interface function to display the NCSIMUL Interface dialog.
-
Use this dialog to select a predefined machine project or define a new machine and controller. After you have set the parameters, click Run NCSIMUL to launch the NCSIMUL application.
