Plunge cutting is supported in Cimatron.

Note: The plunge cutter type is shown below to illustrate that the cutting length of a plunge cutter is measured horizontally and not vertically as in all the other cutters. It is not displayed in the Cutters & Holders dialog or in the Cimatron window
