UCS Rotating the Axes
Optional Step 1
To rotate the axes of the created UCS, click the appropriate Optional Step button. The UCS will be created according to the defined rotation angles.
The following parameters are displayed:
CS Rotation |
This is a toggle option CS Rotation / None. |
X Axis |
Enter the required rotation values in the appropriate order.
Notes:
See the rotation examples below.
|
Y Axis |
|
Z Axis |
Rotation Examples:
Set the first axis rotation value. |
Set the subsequent axis rotation values in the appropriate order. The order of rotation is important (90 around Y first and 90 around X second is different from 90 around X first and 90 around Y second). |
|
|
When resetting an axis (to zero), all dependent axes (rotation axes defined after this axis) will also be reset. |
In this example, the 2nd rotation axis (X) was reset to 0, which means that the dependent 3rd axis (Z) is also reset to 0. |
