Update Notification
When a file has changed and requires an update, a relevant icon is displayed near the top right corner of the Cimatron window. By default, these are revolving icons to attract your attention.
A Preference option controls the animation of these icons.

This icon appears in the currently active file if, for example, the file to which it is associated has been changed. |
This icon appears in the currently active file if, for example, there has been a geometry change in the file. |

When hovering over this icon, a tooltip is displayed informing you that the file has changed since it was last saved and also details whether it was a geometrical or non-geometrical (e.g. attributes) change.
In either case, this is a prompt to Update the Current File.
