The following editing occurrences are supported:
- Changing the Catalog (or Part) Parameters
- Editing the Catalog Master
- Edit operations (Edit Add, Edit Copy etc.)
- Editing the AttrnTrnMap.XML file
- Deleting/Suppressing
Changing the Catalog (or Part) Parameters
The size, location and orientation of copied wire entities in the target part are associative to the original entities in the catalog part. This means parametric changes could lead to changes in the cut list (in the Selection Filter dialog).
Editing the Catalog Master
After updating geometry in the catalog part, the target part cut by the catalog enters into Not Updated mode. Press Update to modify the target part according to the changes in the catalog part.
Geometric/attribute changes are reflected in the cut list (in the Selection Filter dialog).
If the cutting object is edited, the Filter list can be edited by attaching the property again.
Edit Operations (Edit Add, Edit Copy etc.)
Any change in the original part is implemented in the target part upon confirmation.
Editing the AttrnTrnMap.XML file
Changes in the AttrnTrnMap.XML (categories or sub-categories added or removed from the list) do not influence existing catalog parts / masters. However, when editing a cutting object, the modifications are implemented (in the form of added / removed options in the filter list) but you need to re-confirm the attach operation in order for the change to take place.
Deleting/Suppressing
Removing the Catalog Part from the Assembly
If you remove cut operations along with a deleted part, it results in the removal of copied entities or any attributes derived from the cutting object.
Suppressing/un-suppressing the Catalog Part in the Assembly
This is supported in terms of removing or adding copied entities or any attributes derived from cutting object
