Clear Selection 
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Clear Selection
icon in the floating
toolbar. -
Select Edit > Selection > Clear Selection from the menu bar.

Right-click a feature in the Feature Tree and select Clear Selection from the popup menu.
Unselect all entities.
Use Clear Selection to clear all the entities you have selected.
The entities will no longer be highlighted, meaning that they are not selected.
