Conventions

The online Help uses the following font and button conventions:

Heading

Topic heading.

Sub-Heading

Sub-heading within a topic.

Click to display how to access the function or process being viewed. This normally appears at the beginning of a Help topic. When this button is pressed, the dropdown text is displayed with a light YELLOW background to distinguish it from other text.

Example:

Access: Select Tools > Preferences from the menu bar to display the Preferences Editor dialog.

Click to display how to use the function. This normally appears at the beginning of a Help topic.

Click to display how to edit the entities that are created using the function. This normally appears at the beginning of a Help topic.

Click to display how to delete the entities that are created using the function. This normally appears at the end of a Help topic.

Click to run an animation demonstrating the use of a function or process.

Italic green

Click the text in this font/color to display additional information in a dropdown section. This information is normally hidden to enhance the clarity of the subject matter.

Related Topics

Click the relevant topic to display it. This normally appears at the end of a Help topic.

Notes:

Draws attention to important issues relating to the topic. Notes are displayed with a light BLUE background to distinguish them from other text.

A single note is displayed in the same line as the Note: label. Multiple notes are displayed in bullet format.

Example:

Single note:	Note: A file template may contain sets.
Multiple notes:	Notes: Clicking a mixed mode set toggles it to show mode. Clicking a shown or hidden set toggles between the show and hide modes.

Checkboxes

Checkboxes are displayed in numerous locations throughout Cimatron when defining parameters or processes to be performed. Checkboxes are defined as either ON or OFF as shown below:

	Checkbox ON.
	Checkbox OFF.
