Picking a Plane
Access: Open this function from the following location:

Plane selection mode:
Either press the
button in the Work Mode Dialog (if you are in Wizard Mode), or display the Geometry parameters in the parameter tables.
The Geometry Table is displayed:
To start picking the required geometry, press the numbered button adjacent to the Plane geometry parameter. This button displays the number of planes that have already been selected. You are then prompted to pick the required geometry.

Planes are used in 2.5 Axes Milling > Profile Open by Plane, and 2.5 Axes Milling > Profile Closed by Plane procedures.
Planes are created using the Datum > Plane function. You can create planes in the Part application by switching to the CAD environment.
