Drafting Menus: Groups Menu

Access: Invoke this group of functions from the following locations:

Select Groups from the menu bar. Select the required function.
Right-click the graphics area to display the popup submenu and select the appropriate function from the Groups flyout.
Select the required function as specified in the function description.

The Groups menu functions enable you to group Drafting geometry and symbols into one entity. This group can then be modified (location, size, etc.) and used in the current file sheet or in an external file.

The following functions are available in the Groups menu:

The table below is sortable; it has clickable headers that sort the table by the clicked column. The table is initially sorted by Function name.

Menu Section	Function
Groups	Create Group	Create a group of drafting entities.
Groups	Delete Master Group	Delete a Master Group of entities.
Groups	Place Group	Load a master group and apply an instance of the group to the view.
