Access: Invoke this group of functions from one of the following locations:
Select Views > View Creation from the menu bar. Select the required function.
Select the required function as specified in the function description.
This group of functions is used to create various types of views.
The following functions are available in this group:
Create an array of drawings on a single sheet with each drawing in its own frame. |
Create a broken (shortened) view of a long part in Drafting. Broken views can be created with adjustable break lines in a variety of styles. Any dimension made in a broken view is still correct to the part model, as it will automatically compensate for the part length that has been broken away. |
Clip (remove) the portion of a view that is outside the selected contour. A contour must first be defined and then selected as input for the Clip View function, defining the boundaries of the clipping. |
Create a contour to be used for defining special views such as Detailed, Local Section or Clipped View. |
Add a hatched surface to the drawing. |
Create a local section view of any part view. Draw a contour to define the area of the local section view. |
Create multiple views in a single operation. |
Add a section line to the drawing. |
Create a view of a part. |
Note: For additional information on views, see Views.
