Mold Design Menu: Add Mold Component Tools

Access: Open this group of functions from one of the following locations:

Select Mold Design > Add Mold Component from the menu bar. Select the required function.
Select Add Mold Component from the Mold Design Guide Toolbar. Select the required function.

This group of functions is used to Add mold components (such as mold parts, screws, injection/ejection devices, mold plates, slide units, and other user parts) from the catalog to your mold.

Work with a library of over 20 vendor catalogs, customize them and create your own catalogs for reuse

Browse through catalog parts that include complete and up-to-date details of dimensions.
Automatically adapt the catalog part or sub-assembly to the main assembly’s dimensions and components, with parametric catalog capabilities.
Integrate catalog parts into assemblies by automatically creating pockets in every plate the part goes through and threading the pocket where necessary.
Associate catalog parts with their drilling procedures to streamline NC programming.
Access additional catalog parts using the Cadenas portal.

Important: The added component will be assigned to the activated assembly. Make sure that the required assembly is activated before using this operation.

The following functions are available in this group:

	Injection Devices	Add injection devices from your catalog to your mold.
	Mold Parts	Add mold parts from the catalog to your mold.
	Plates	Add plates from the catalog to your mold.
	Screws - Bolts	Add screws and bolts from the catalog to your mold.
/	Slide Units/New Slider	Add a slide unit (or a new slider mechanism) from the catalog to your mold.
