Save/Export

Saves/Exports data from the Machine Simulator.

Save/Export option - Save Machine

Saves the machine definition:

Save/Export - Create Presentation

The current simulation is packed into a self-running simulation executable (presentation) that contains the entire Machine Simulator including files and settings from the current simulation environment.

You can also select one of two options for the Machine Simulator Presentation Window Title Bar:

Ensure support for all Windows x64 platforms (include Microsoft Redistributable): This makes sure the presentation runs on any Windows x64 platform irrespective of whether the Microsoft Redistributable package required to run that version of the Machine Simulator is installed or not.

Important: This option may increase the executable file size.

When running the Machine Simulator x64 versions, you will see the following red warning message "WARNING: The presentation you are about to create will run ONLY on 64-bit Windows Operating Systems".

Presentations created with Machine Simulator x86 will run on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems, even though it says the presentations will work only on Windows x64.

Click Create Presentation to open the Save Windows dialog where you can enter a name for the presentation file (instead of the default name).

When you open the executable file, everything will look and be set in exactly the same way as the moment when the presentation was made, except for the simulation that is reset to the first move of the first operation (equivalent to the Restart functionality).

Save/Export - Save Stock Material

Saves the stock material that you currently see on the screen.

Large values mean greater triangle reduction. This reduces the file size but may result in the loss of some stock geometry features.

Click Save to open a Save Windows dialog where you can enter a name for the file (instead of the default name).

Save/Export - Create Simulation Report

Generates an XML file with all the simulation results.

The XML file is versioned. This makes it possible to track changes.

Click Create Simulation Report to open a Save Windows dialog where you can enter a name for the file (instead of the default name).
