Hints and Tips: Surface Profile Procedures

In the case of a very complicated contour, use the option ROUND CORNER.
If part of a contour projected onto a surface, extends beyond the boundaries of the surface, machining will be performed only above the surface.
Up to 3000 contours may be defined.
It is recommended to use TRIM LOOPS: LOCAL for faster results. If the results are not satisfactory, TRIM LOOPS: GLOBAL should be used.
NURBS spline movements are not supported by the SIMULATOR and VERIFIER.
For Surface Milling > Profile Closed Contour, the system does not perform Approach / Retracts below the surface to avoid gouging.
