Multiple View Selection

You can perform some operations on multiple views in a single sheet simultaneously from the Tree.

 Hold down the Ctrl key to select more than one non-contiguous item or the Shift key to select the multiple adjacent items.

The following operations are available:

• Drag and drop: More than one view can be selected from a sheet at one time, then dragged and dropped to another sheet.
• Right Mouse Button options: The same list of options are available to multiple selected items as single select, but with some choices removed.
• Editing View Properties: Editing one parameter (such as Scale or View Name Position) in the View Creation dialog will apply the change to all selected views.
• Changing View Attributes: You can edit the View Attributes for multiple selected files.
• File Operations: The following file operations are available;
  • Cut, Copy, and Paste: The system will check for duplicate view names within the same sheet during the paste operation.
  • Rename: The selected files will all get the new assigned name plus a numbered suffix (X), where x is an increasing integer.
  • Delete: Multiple selected files can be deleted at the same time.
