Remnant Cut
This path type will only machine the remnant of a toolpath. This process is complementary to the previous one ("Roughing until remnant").
The most important things you need to know about this path type are:
- You ALWAYS have to define a wire exit distance (if you don't set a value, the system will enter a default value).
- The system will ALWAYS change the option "Invert path" to "Yes" because for this path type you need to begin from the Entry Motion. You can change it later.
- By default Cimatron will assign phase number 2 to this path type.
