Step 6 - Create Parting Faces

1. Activate the Parting Surface Part by double-clicking it or by right-clicking and selecting the Activate Component option.
   

2. Click Parting Guide > Parting Surfaces > External Parting Surface.
    

3. Verify that the parting curve created is picked.
   Change the width of the parting curve to 100 as shown below:
   

4. Click OK in the Feature Guide.

5. Click Parting > Parting Attributes.
   

6. Show the Cavity set.
   

7. Select all faces.
   
   

8. Click MMB (middle mouse button) to Exit and move to the next required step. 
   Accept the default Automatic Attachment option.
   

9. Click OK.
