AMF (Additive Manufacturing Format) is an open standard for describing objects for additive manufacturing processes such as 3D printing. It is an XML-based format and enables CAD software to describe the shape and composition of objects (both Solids and STL objects) to be fabricated on 3D printers.
The official standard format definition is ISO/ASTM 52915:2013E.
