Assembly Tree

The Assembly Tree is a tool for viewing and controlling the contents of assemblies. Within the Assembly application, two trees are displayed:

  • The upper tree, the Assembly Tree, shows the components and constraints.

  • The lower tree, the Feature Tree, shows the assembly operations and features. This tree shows a list of features and operations that were created in the assembly environment. The operations can be managed directly from the tree.

Notes

  • For the Parting Application, an additional Parting Tree is displayed.

  • For all trees, an Auto Hide mechanism is used to move the tree to the left of the Cimatron window to increase the viewable display area.

  • Assembly Add operations (listed in the Feature Tree) show the name of the part being added; see the example below.

If an assembly component is activated in the Assembly Tree, the Feature Tree shows the assembly operations.

If a part component is activated in the Assembly Tree, the Feature Tree shows the part features (as in the Part application).
