Ejector Pocket

Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Select Mold Design > Ejection > Ejector Pocket from the menu bar.
Select Ejection > Ejector Pocket from the Mold Design Guide Toolbar.

Create pockets (holes) for the ejectors in mold plates and inserts in a single step. This allows you to assign a variable clearance depth and a diameter to any number of ejector pins, then use these values to cut holes in the mold plates. The ejector pocket may either be created in Preview mode or in Cut mode.

Tip: You can open the Feature Guide at any time by right-clicking the mouse in the graphic display area.

Required Step 1 : Pick the ejectors for which pockets are to be created.

Required Step 2 : Define the required pocketing parameters.

Optional Step 1 : Pick or unpick components to be cut by the Ejector Pocket.
