Insert & Reconnect Forming Shape 
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:

Select Die Design > Forming Shapes > Insert & Reconnect from the menu bar.

Select Forming Shapes > Insert & Reconnect from the following Die Design Guide: Die Process Design Guide (Forming).
Insert a forming shape between two other forming shapes and create connections between them in the correct order.
One of the first tasks in die design is to create a series of forming shapes, where the part is gradually unfolded. When using Cimatron DieDesign, each forming shape is associated to the next, and an edit of an early step in the process will be updated through each of the successive steps. But plans often change, and sometimes a new step must be added to the forming process.
This function enables you to easily insert an additional forming shape between existing forming shapes in the forming shape line and to reconnect the stations. Full associativity is maintained in the forming shape line, so that changes made to one forming shape will affect all of the forming shapes that come after it.
For example, you can insert a forming shape number 1A, between stations 1 and 2 and then reconnect the stations such that station 1a is related to station 1 and station 2 is related to station 1a (see the usage example below).
You can add, delete or relocate forming shapes or add transfer shapes as required.
