Editing a Dimension Value Using the Witness Line Terminator
You can edit a dimension value by dragging the witness line terminator. This function is available for linear, angular, and radial dimensions (not in drafting), and allows users to drag the terminators in order to change the dimension value as well as the geometry.
Note: You can also edit a dimension value by using the Sketcher Dimension dialog.
Whenever the cursor is within the region defined in the picture below, the relevant terminator will be highlighted (not the entire dimension).
The cursor will also change as shown below (same icon for all dimension types):
Linear Dimension
Pick the witness line terminator: |
Drag the terminator to the required dimension size: |

Note: It is not possible to drag a dimension on a fixed constraint entity, as illustrated in the example below; however, the other side (the free side) of the dimension can be dragged.
Angular Dimension
Pick the witness line terminator: |
Drag the terminator to the required dimension size: |
