Enable Nesting of Milling Zones
The Enable Nesting of Milling Zones checkbox enables the nesting of milling zones for Rough, Finish, Cleanup and Pencil procedures.
The option is used together with the NC Contour Manager (where it is also displayed) and enables the selection of contours within contours to create the nested milling zones.
When this checkbox is marked 
, enable nesting of milling zones.
When this checkbox is OFF 
, do not enable nesting of milling zones.
Default = OFF 
This option appears in the Boundary Settings parameter table and in the NC Contour Manager. Another option that is used with the Enable Nesting of Milling Zones is Alter Milling Zones.
The Alter Milling Zones option is used to alter the state of the contours defining the milling zones.

When this checkbox is marked , milling zones can be nested (the selection of contours within contours is considered "valid" in the Contour Manager) as shown below:
In this case, the resulting motions are as shown below:

When this checkbox is OFF , milling zones cannot be nested (the selection of contours within contours is considered "invalid" and are disregarded), as shown below:
In this case, the resulting motions are as shown below (the nested contours are disregarded):

If the Enable Nesting of Milling Zones option is selected in the procedure parameter table, then it is automatically selected when entering the Contour Manager dialog and vice versa.

The Enable Nesting of Milling Zones option is displayed in the contour selection sessions for the following procedures: Rough Spiral, Rough Parallel, Finish Mill All, Finish Mill by Limit Angle, Finish Horiz. Planar Areas, Cleanup and Pencil.

The Alter Milling Zones option can be used with the Enable Nesting of Milling Zones option to alter the state of the contours defining the milling zones.
