Pocket Manager: Active UCS
Access: Open this function from the following location:

Click the Active UCS option in the Pocket Manager dialog.
Set the active UCS which determines the direction in which the system detects the pockets.
The floor of a detected pocket will always be perpendicular to the Z direction of the set UCS. The pockets must be detected in an orientation which is suitable for them to be machined.
The active UCS can either be changed by selecting it from the dropdown list of available UCSs in the Pocket Manager dialog, or by using any other UCS activation tools in Cimatron. In addition, while the Pocket Manager is on, the active UCS can also be selected by picking it on the graphics screen; this updates the Pocket Manager dialog and also the general setting on the toolbar.
Changing the active UCS and reselecting the geometry faces (automatically or manually), enables you to define pockets from all required directions. Newly detected pockets are added on the Pocket Table to the already existing ones. There is no necessity to detect all pockets from all directions in one session; at any given point the Pocket Manager can be reactivated in order to detect additional pockets.
