Drafting Preferences > Drawing and Sheet > Settings

Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Navigate to Drafting > Drawing and Sheet > Settings.

Define the default name of the drawing and sheet.

The Settings dialog is displayed.

Interaction

  1. Set the required attributes.

Drawing name

Change the default name of the drawing. (This field must be filled).

Standard

Select the drawing standard from the dropdown list. The current options are ISO, ANSI or JIS.

Sheet

Define the default name of the sheet. All sheets will be opened under this name.

Frame

Select this checkbox to include a frame as a default for every sheet. Next, select the frame size from the dropdown menu.

If the required frame does not appear in the dropdown list, click Browse to browse to a folder where frames are located. The frames in that folder will then appear in the dropdown list.

The default browse location is the same as the one in the Frame Settings dialog (...\Data\Frames\ folder of your installation).

If you defined a frame that cannot be found (when the sheet is created), no frame is used (as if the Frame checkbox is unselected).

When the checkbox is selected, the dropdown list and browse button become available.

The default setting is OFF (unselected).
