Drafting Preferences > General > Units
Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:

Select the Preferences button
from the Quick Access Toolbar, or -
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.
Navigate to Drafting > General > Units.
Define the default characteristics for Units.
The Units dialog is displayed.
Interaction

Set the required unit characteristics.

Units |
Define whether to display Single or Dual units. If Dual is selected, choose the Dual linear units type from the dropdown menu. |

Document Units |
Get default units from the file takes the default value defined in the Cimatron Explorer when creating a new file. If this option is selected, the default linear units are disabled. Unselect the Get default units from the file option to define the Default linear units. |

Angular Units |
Define the Default angular units. |

Select the appropriate approval option.
