Interaction

  1. Set the parameters:

Revolve Around Edge while Rotating Model

When rotating a model, ignore edges or rotate around an edge.

Enable rotating a model around a selected edge.

Ignore geometry edges when rotating a model. The model can be rotated as is and not around the axis of an edge.

Default = OFF.

This option is ignored in the Drafting environment.

Switch to Monochrome while in Wireframe Rendering Mode

Control the color of the displayed edges in Wireframe Rendering Mode.

The wireframe entities are displayed in the colors defined in the Preferences> General > Colors and Styles dialog.

The wireframe entities are displayed in the color of the object. If hidden edges are shown, they are displayed in a lighter shade of the same color.

Default = ON.

This option is ignored in the Drafting environment.

Use the Show Tool Only for Entities in Selected Sets

This sets the default for the Show from Selected Sets option in new files.

Default = OFF.

Save and Load Display Mesh

Save the mesh triangulation data in an external (.ext) file. When loading a file, the mesh data is loaded from the external file and does not need to be rebuilt.

Default = ON.

Recalculate Display Mesh on Load

When this checkbox is marked , the mesh triangulation data is recalculated when loading a file.

This means that when loading a Cimatron file, the system ignores the existing display data saved within the file. This display data is kept within the file to reduce loading time. However, in some cases you may not wish to use the existing display data, for example when loading large files on lower end computers.

Default = OFF.
