Modeling Preferences > Curvature Map Ranges
Access: Invoke this function from one of the following locations:
-
Select the Preferences button
from the Quick Access Toolbar, or
-
Select Tools > Main Tools > Preferences from the menu bar.
Navigate to Modeling > Curvature Map Ranges.
Set the default colors and radii values used in the Curvature Map function. The Curvature Map function maps the different curvature radii of faces and then colors the faces giving each range of radii a different color. For example:
The Curvature Map Ranges dialog is displayed.
This dialog is used to define:
-
The default colors that represent specific radii of curvature.
-
The default radii that limit the curvature ranges.
Specific colors and radii values can be defined within the Curvature Map function.
Interaction
-
Set the following default Curvature Map parameters:
Colors |
The color for each curvature range can be changed by selecting the appropriate color button to display a color palette. Pick the required color to represent the curvature range.
|
Radii Values |
The radii that limit the curvature ranges can be changed either by using the spin boxes or by entering the required value. |
-
Press the appropriate approval option.
