Technology Selection Simple Mode
Access: Open this function from the following location:

Select NC Utilities > Functions Availability from the menu bar. Select the required function.
Display only a partial list of the Machining Technology (Main Selection and/or Subselection) options, or a partial list of Measurement Cycles.
The following options are available in the Technology Selection Mode:

Use simple mode. This is a toggle option that enables you to define how to display the Machining Technology options. If this option is selected (highlighted), the Simple Mode is activated and a partial list of the machining technology options is displayed, according to the selection in the Simple Mode Settings dialog. If this option is not selected, the full list of the machining technology options is displayed. |

Set which actions can be performed for each Measurement Cycle. The measurement cycles available in Cimatron are the ones that are the most commonly used. Some machines support more cycle types and others do not support all the ones the procedure offers. In order to avoid creating measurement cycles and/or actions that are not supported on your machines, use the displayed dialog to define a partial list of cycles/actions that will be available for use. |
Use Simple Mode 
Use simple mode. This is a toggle option that enables you to define how to display the Machining Technology options.
If this option is selected (highlighted), the Simple Mode is activated and a partial list of the machining technology options is displayed, according to the selection in the Simple Mode Settings dialog.
If this option is not selected, the full list of the machining technology options is displayed.
Partial and full Machining Technology example lists are shown below, depending on whether the Use Simple Mode toggle is selected or not.

Note: When in Simple Mode and you are editing a procedure that is not included in the Simple Mode list, this procedure is temporarily added to the Simple Mode list. When you have finished editing, the normal Simple Mode list is displayed.
Settings 
Simple mode settings. Use the displayed dialog to define a partial list of technology options that will be available for use. This defines which machining technology options are to be included in the Simple Mode.
Display the Simple Mode Settings dialog where you set which machining technology options are to be included in the Simple Mode.
In the example dialog below, note that only the Volume and Surface Milling technologies remain selected, and within the Volume Milling, the Legacy Procedures are unselected. Only the selected items will appear in a Simple Mode partial list and the settings below are reflected in the example Simple Mode lists above.
Dialog Buttons
The following buttons appear in the dialog:

Unselect All: Unselect all items. |

Select All: Select all items. |
|
Toggle Selection: Toggle the selection of all items. Items that are selected, become unselected, and vice versa. |

OK: Accept the changes, perform the operation, and close the current dialog/task. |
|
Cancel: Cancel all changes and close the dialog/task without saving the settings. |

Dialog Buttons

Save Measurement Cycles: Save the currently selected actions to be performed for each measurement cycle. The actions are saves in a .CYC file. |

Load Measurement Cycles: Load a previously saved .CYC file containing the actions to be performed for each measurement cycle. |

OK: Accept the changes, perform the operation, and close the current dialog/task. |
|
Cancel: Cancel all changes and close the dialog/task without saving the settings. |
