Process Manager: Synchronize Parameters
Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
from the Synchronize Parameters allows you to synchronize a cutter's parameters with a procedure's parameters, overwriting the procedure's values with the cutter's. This function can be performed directly from the NC Process Manager instead of editing a procedure to set the parameters.
A parameter is synced if there is no conflict between the value defined by the cutter and the value used by the procedure. A group of parameters (cutter Machining and/or Motion parameters) are synced if all the parameters within the group do not have a conflict. See the Synchronizing cutter parameters section below for a complete list of parameters by group that are synced with this function.
The Cutter Sync column in the NC Process Manager provides a sync status for the cutter parameters for each procedure. See Cutter Sync for more information on this column usage and status defintions.
Synchronizing cutter parameters
The following cutter parameters are synced in a procedure when using the Synchronize Parameters function.
(Note that these cutter parameters are not related to stock material and are used by default when stock is not defined in NC Setup.)

Using Synchronize Parameters to update procedures with cutter parameters
From the NC Process Manager, right-click on a procedure that is not synced. The NC Popup Menu appears. Select Sychronize Parameters.
The Update Procedure by Cutter Parameters dialog appears. Select an option from the pulldown list.
Update all cutter parameters (Machining and Motion parameters)
To update all cutter parameters, select Update All Parameters and click 
.
The Cutter Sync column in the NC Process Manager now displays All Sync., indicating that all cutter parameters have been synchronized with the procedure.
Update Motion parameters only
To update a procedure with only the cutter's Motion parameters, select Update Motion Parameters Only and click .
The Cutter Sync column now displays Motion Param Sync., indicating that all the cutter's Motion parameters have been synchronized with the procedure.
Update Machining parameters only
To update a procedure with only the cutter's Machining parameters, select Update Machine Parameters Only and click .
The Cutter Sync column now displays Machine Param Sync., indicating that all the cutter's Machining parameters have been synchronized with the procedure.
Setting cutter parameters from the Parameter table
Note that you can also synchronize cutter parameters while creating or editing procedures by right-clicking on the Parameter table and selecting one of the following menu options:
