Concurrent Design
Cimatron locks access to an open file, preventing a second user from overwriting the primary user's changes. The file can still be opened, but can only be saved using the 'Save As' command. The warning is enabled by default and can be switched off in Preferences.
If you try to open a file that another user already has open, a dialog is displayed.
- If the file is a part, drawing, or NC file, the dialog shows the username and session information.
- If the file is an assembly file, the dialog shows how many of the files in the assembly are locked. You can then click the See Details button to display which files are locked, and the username and sessionID for each locked file.
