Show Location on Disk

The Show Location on Disk option shows the location of a selected entity on the disk. This option appears as a popup option (right-click) within the Tree Pane and also in the Cimatron Explorer.

Tree Pane - Show Location on Disk

In the Tree Pane, this shows the location of a selected entity on the disk by displaying the Manager View of the Cimatron Explorer. Show Location on Disk appears as a popup option (right-click) in the following trees:

• Feature Tree - Right-click the ImportModel feature.

• Assembly Tree - Right-click a single Sub-Assembly or Component item.

• Drawing Tree - Right-click a View item (Top View, Front View, etc.).

In the Modeling environment (Feature Tree and Assembly Tree), this option shows the location on the disk and selects the file that was right-clicked.

In the Drafting environment (Drawing Tree), this option shows the location on the disk and selects the server of the item that was right-clicked.

Cimatron Explorer - Show Location on Disk

When expanding an Assembly file in the Cimatron Explorer, the contents of the file (sub-assemblies, parts, etc.) are displayed within a blue background. The items within this blue area are instances of files located on the disk.

The Show Location on Disk option displays the location of a selected entity on the disk, within the Cimatron Explorer.
