Access: Open this function from one of the following locations:
Select Mold Design > Mold Base > Add Mold Set from the menu bar.
Select Mold Base > Add Mold Set from the Mold Design Guide Toolbar.
Add an assembly of mold plates and components.
The general interaction is similar to that for adding mold parts. The only difference is the dialog displayed during the required step 1.
Select the required a mold set.
The Component Selection dialog is displayed. Browse to the required Mold Sets and Category and Sub-Category component types. See the Example Catalog Component Selection Process, below.
The following categories are supported: Mold Sets, Fixed Side Assemblies, Moveable Side Assemblies, and Ejection System Assemblies.
Use Non-Standard Mold Plates |
If this checkbox is marked, catalog plates will be predetermined as non-standard. The checkbox is unmarked until an item is selected in the dialog. This option is applicable only to plates, not to any other catalog components. |

When selecting a catalog component, the Component Selection dialog is displayed with the appropriate Category component type automatically displayed (depending on the function invoked) and Sub-Category component types displayed for selection.
